Start of the year service

Years 3-6 went to church today to welcome in the new school year.

Year 6 led the service - here they are ready to start

The staff violinists were mostly hidden behind their music, but you can see Miss Nuttall who was playing in church for the first time at Jesson's. 

The children explained what they hoped to achieve during the year

The service finished with a song: "Don't stop thinking about tomorrow"...

"ooh - oooooh, don't you look back"

A lovely service: the children made us very proud.
