A farewell

Well, here it is; the last ever blogpost from the (current) Bloglady.

In case you missed this Express and Star coverage earlier in the holiday, here is is again:

So, it just leaves me to say to everyone - staff, children, parents:

"A heartfelt thank you for all you have done during my time at Jesson's. I won't ever forget you, all your hard work, your caring, your friendships and all the fun we have all had together as a school.

Once a member of the Jesson's family, always a member .

I hope you all carry on trying hard to be the best you can be."

But, as they say, as one door closes, another door opens...

...if you want to continue following my adventures, you can always log on and follow me on my new Blog:

I hope to see you there,

Best wishes,

Cards galore...

A final selection of cards
I hope you have enjoyed looking at them as much as I did.

Some of the many individual cards made by children - I couldn't put them all on, sorry!

This one was actually the size of a real keyboard

Each key lifted up to reveal an individual message

This was a scary card, based on 6A's part in their production, where they focused on scary films

The characters were all children from the class, with green faces

Finally, this card reflected the Bloglady's love of boating (But luckily wasn't lifesize!) It was a sailing boat, almost a metre long.

The crew were class members!

Happy holidays - and work in progress

Mr Anfous went camping in the Brecon Beacons

Barbecuing in the great outdoors

Mrs George enjoyed her birthday in Turkey. Looks a bit dangerous!
Miss Kaur tried to take a photograph of herself at a family wedding (you look lovely, Miss Kaur!)

And here is Miss Kaur with her brother

Back in school, the caretakers have worked their way through 5 very large pots of teak oil to make sure our wooden furniture looks smart for the new term.

And there are new steps for Dennis! (The bus, if you're a new reader)

The wall at the edge of the playground has been rebuilt - which will stop it slipping into the back gardens

Cards too!

A few more of the many cards received:

What a talented bunch of staff and children!

I loved these letters from Year One:  all unaided work (as you can probably see from the spelling!)

Gruffalo, Aladdin and a fairytale wedding

Mrs Fowler is sitting on her friend, the Gruffalo,...

...while Mrs Kamboo Dass is looking at lamps in Agadir (and wondering whether they are enchanted)

And here is Mrs Careless at her daughter's wedding. As pretty as a fairytale princess! (Lovely, both of them)
