Key Stage 1's production

Here are some photos that were sent to me.
It really was a fantastic production. It was great to see so many children singing acting and dancing their hearts out.

Below, the lion and the mouse - or in this case, the lions and the mice!

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside

Nursery children and families went to Weston Super Mare on a cool day, but had a wonderful time.

The Three Counties Show (in Malvern)

Jubilate were asked to sing on the BBC stage at the Three Counties Show. Other schools were also there, but only Jubilate was asked to do two performances

It was windy and cold, but we didn't let that put us off!
Some of the music will go out on Radio Hereford and Worcester this weekend
Dancing kept us warm, and the roof kept us dry. The audience(which was large) stood in the rain!

Then the sun came out and we watched the falconry display. This is a vulture.
A side-saddle display followed
The children stroked the horse afterwards,
....then tried milking a mechanical cow...
 ...before looking at real ones.
The sweet stall was atrractive even in the pouring rain
Some were well-prepared
The sweets were delicious
Afterwards we found out that the car wasn't allowed on the showground to pick up our very heavy equipment.
We were very frustrated by this,

but there was a solution....

....load everything onto this cart.
Thanks, Albert and Major!

On our way home at last after a long day

Netball

Some shots from out tournament-winning netball team (in blue)
They are the most successful netball team we've had for a very long time

Well done girls - we're proud of you!
And thanks to Miss Robb for coaching them

Working together

Here are some pictures from Year 1's Working Together

The session was about phonics
....and how they can help with reading....
...and with writing

The parents gave us excellent feedback, and you can see that it was enjoyable.

Thanks to Miss Kamboo for presenting the session.

Jubilant Jesson's 2

After school there was fun inside (quickly changed from outside because of the weather)

The Friends of Jesson's organised various stalls
 By the bouncy castle
 The hall was completely full

Some of the staff dressed in a dignified way for the occasion...

..and some of them didn't....

Happy Jubilee to all our readers

Jubilant Jesson's

We held a Jubilee Day on Thursday. Children dressed in red white and blue...

...or as Kings,...

...queens...
...or princesses.
We had to come inside to sing the National Anthem. (Rain, of course!)
This hall isn't big enough to hold us all, unless we stand. No room for sitting.
Waiting for the anthem to start
God save the Queen.
60 years on the throne - a historic achievement
