Air drying clay!

Children in year 3 had some art lessons using air drying clay

They had to work very quickly because it dried very quickly when it was exposed to air. (Not surprisingly! The clue is in the name.)

Concentration was key.

In a later lesson they painted the results, but I thought you'd like to see the look of determination on the faces!

More from 6A's assembly - with 2M

Here's something from a while ago. A lovely assembly - you already saw some pictures: here are some more

What have you done today to make you feel proud?

The many talents of class 2M

A modern telling of the parable of the talents: the rich woman goes to New Zealand leaving money for people to take good care of

One invested in an internet company. It failed, but at least she tried

Christmas at Bellway Homes

Some Year 5 children were invited to spend some time at a Christmas carol service and party at Bellway Homes

We are hoping to be able to have these giraffes for school later! Great, aren't they?

Santa did some tricks

The food was lovely!
On their way home, with presents and balloon figures. We thank you for inviting us, Bellway!

The Christmas season!

Er, the Bloglady has run out of Christmassy school pictures, so here are three from Blog Towers
The Bloglady's family had a few presents!
This tree has all the ornaments from our family life on - (some from the Bloglady's mum even),  - every bauble has a story to tell.

Some great pictures coming up tomorrow as we go back into school mode

Merry Christmas to all our readers

The real story of Christmas today.
This knitted nativity has been on display in school.
It was once a very popular kitting pattern and there are many similar ones all over the country.
Merry Christmas to all our readers

More from reception's Ash End Farm trip

Earlier in December, reception children visited Ash End Farm. There were earlier pictures posted on the blog.

After looking round at the animals, the children went on a magical sleigh ride

... to see a nativity scene with a real donkey (bit blurred, sorry!)....
....and finally they were invited into Santa's living room
Some of the staff who went

It's not just the children who have fun!

Teachers in Year 3 and 4 have a tradition of sharing a lunch at Christmas

The bloglady popped in as they were pulling their crackers. Miss Comrie looks pleased with her joke!

Mrs Maddison is happy! (But Mrs Batchelor hates being photographed. One day....)

 Much hilarity!

That is grape juice - no alcohol allowed!
Mrs Fowler had a pair of plastic lips in her cracker - I think they suit her

Still no luck with Mrs Batchelor - but the Bloglady relishes a challenge!
