Musical Gold part 1

Too many pictures for one blog post - so, more tomorrow
Musical Gold is a chance for some of our children learning instruments to perform in front of a large crowd.
Above and below, class violins from Year 4.

Below, the school orchestra

Below, Miss Hobbs, the orchestra conductor, who also accompanies some soloists

The audience

Some performers looking happy!

It's a relief when you've played your piece!

Waiting to go on...

JessFest - some more!

Here are some more pictures from JessFest. They are from a variety of sources - sorry if I've used your photo and not credited you!

Jjubilate and Fusion together

Just some of the audience: there were even more outside

The CD was launched : JessFest - Songs for Imogen

CDs are £5,  of which £1 goes directly to the Teenage Cancer Trust, in the name of local girl Imogen Westwood who is bravely battling at the moment, and is very grateful for the facilities provided by the TCT at Birmingham Children's Hospital

The band - I said yesterday I'd find a picture of Mr Hayward - and here it is
More audience
Former Jesson's pupils are now members of Fusion
The Fusion men perform. We especially need new men - contact Jesson's if you are interested.

So much has happened that some pictures (trips, Musical gold, recorders, book quiz) are having to be held over for a few days.

The big event for the school was JessFest. Photos are drifting in from various sources (no, the Bloglady couldn't really take any herself)

So here are a few, but more to follow.

It was a fantastic morning: we'll definitely do it again.

We had GB team Gymnast Kayleigh Peakman as a judge but the Bloglady was too busy being amazed to take any pictures. Sorry!
