The Black Country School Games:

In July Jesson's represented Dudley as one of the schools in the Black Country School Games

Miss Robb reports: 

First we watched the opening ceremony; there were dancers and musicians. Even a 2012 Paralympic cyclist.

Then we went into the Sportshall, where we were welcomed and given instructions. 

 

 

 

 

Then the competition began. 

Events- Track- 100m, 200m, 6 lap Paarlauf, Over and Under race. Obstacle race, 4x 100 relay

Field- Long jump, Vertical jump, triple jump, chest push, speed bounce javelin

 

Then there was the medal ceremony- overall Jesson's came 6th. 
WELL DONE EVERYONE: 6TH OUT OF THE WHOLE OF THE BLACK COUNTRY!
