Jesson's Recorder Festival and clearing up time!

Friday Morning
241 Dudley schoolchildren and 41 staff came to Jesson's to take part in our Recorder Festival
Here's Miss Jones from Dudley Performing Arts starting it all off.

You may recognise one of the band - Mr Hayward on the drums, of course

Below, Miss Pennycook does a session. We aren't able to take photos of children from other schools! (Except from behind.)

A fabulous morning of recorders. Thanks go to Mrs Robottom and Mrs Rowley who took on the organisation of it all.
And thanks to Dudley Performing Arts for the workshops

Saturday morning.
The field is cleared of gazebos - staff got here at 8.30 after Friday's JessFest
The men begin to dismantle the marquee

And life goes back to normal: the badger goes about his business after a noisy night

What a fantastic Friday. Thankyou to everyone who helped - to all the staff who came back to help, as well as those who performed. We aim to make our part of Dudley proud. And I think we succeeded.

"Yes, but don't do it too often", says the badger., grumpily
