JessFest - the evening

Friday night came, accompanied by some heavy showers. We couldn't get the whole audience in the marquee, so it was a truly "Glastonbury" performance!

Below, a few of the ladies from Fusion Rock Choir

Mrs Roden, conductor, introduces the next song

The bar staff had a great time. Mr Holmes and his merry band! Mrs Mann, Miss Agrawal, Mrs Maddison and (hiding) Mrs Rowson.

Below, Jubilate and Fusion performing - you can see the size of the stage!

Luke Millard - who played the Phantom of the Opera in the Ellowes Hall production earlier in the year, but here just getting ready to sing "Human", by the Killers - one of the Bloglady's favourite songs

Mr Kimberley getting ready to conduct "Valerie"

Miss Hebron, the other conductor of "Vocalize", with Miss Loverock and Miss Nuttall

Above and below Jubilate perform "I got the Music in Me"
"Ain't got no Troubles in my Life!!"

I Predict a Riottttt!

Mrs Stone has a go at one of the Jubilate dances!

Below, the band perform "Here Comes the Sun", with Mr Jackson on vocals
"That dress was blue when I bought it!!!" BLOGLADY
"Whoops, I can't remember the next chord!" MR  KIMBERLEY
"I don't remember the Beatles - too young" MR "STICKS" HAYWARD

"A great performance but a rather ironic song choice" THE AUDIENCE, AS THE RAIN HAMMERED DOWN AGAIN

Above, The men from Fusion perform a very "over the top" version of Delilah, complete with medallions, chest wigs and roses* between the teeth,
 * before they sang, obviously
Angels - AND THROUGH IT ALL, THEY OFFERED US PERFECTION!!!!

What a fantastic night.
More of the morning's recorder festival tomorrow, I hope.
