Jubilate's first gig this year

Jubilate  performed at the 60th Anniversary of the Schools Band Association in Birmingham. They were the only choir.

The venue was beautiful. This was the dressing room

Getting ready. Note the Jesson's carrier bag. Each child has one with all the costume in. Mrs Stone is in charge of making sure everyone has the right things in the right size. Not an easy job!

The boys, looking very smart! A credit to Jesson's

The musicians with the organiser. The programme had an introduction written by Prince Charles

Mrs Roden, in fierce mode, gives a last minute briefing.

Just getting ready to go on stage. No photographs of the performance, but the children got the loudest cheers of the night and also lots of whistles (and no, it wasn't our parents - none of them was there).

Walking back to the coach through the darkness in torrential rain. We were back very late.
In the pouring rain, Mrs Roden forgets which way up to hold the music! Well, it was a very stressful exciting evening.

Well done Jubilate - we're very proud of you. What a fantastic experience!
And thankyou too, to the teachers who gave up a Saturday night! (They enjoyed it though!)
