Parties and a special visitor!

Look who came to school today!

 ... and look at the children's faces!

It was party day for the younger children

Even the teachers dressed up!

And so did the children 

In Miss Channa's class they were dancing with the Attendance Bear, because theirs was the best attendance last week!

What a lovely day! (Think the teachers were tired afterwards, though!)

A busy day

(The "large child" is former pupil Alex Robottom, helping out because of illness in the band)

Then, straight on to rehearsals for the Christmas Service. It's the first one where the whole Key Stage has worked together rather than separate bits from year Groups.

Next, Jubilate went to lead the singing at the Borough's Staff Carol Service. We had special congratulations from the Mayor and the Chief Executive.

Finally, on to Tesco, where Jubilate entertained shoppers 

Below, the equipment packed up ready to go back to school. We fill four trolleys with drum, amps, speakers, guitar, piano, stools!

It was Christmas dinner for Years 1-6

All sorts of meat on offer: regular, halal and quorn bake, as well as pasta....

A range of puddings - though our school Christmas pudding is great (the staff love it!), children these days are a little less traditional. 

And in Room 101, Staff from Years 3 and 4 have their own dinner - with celebratory apple juice, (whoops, didn't realise the Bloglady was in the mirror), fancy crackers, and silly hats

VIP morning

Our guests were invited to school so we could say thankyou for what they had done for us during the year.
Here are some highlights (sorry about the quality - really must get a proper camera!!!!)

Last week, when the blog was on the blink(!) Jubilate visited the Black Carers Association to entertain them during their Christmas dinner

It was a very festive occasion

The food looked delicious!

The audience loved hearing the singing, and there was plenty of dancing and cheering going on too!
