An afternoon visit to nursery allowed the children to show you what they get up to!
Play tent (above). Cameras below.
Music
Waiting to go outside!
The play tent is very popular
More music
That toy looks like fun!
More tomorrow
Class 2S did an assembly all about Pentecost
It started with a dance to Electric Avenue!
Then there was an electricity rap from partner class 6S
Everyone sang "This little light of mine"
The prayers were about the coming of the Holy Spirit
There was a new song we had just learnt - to the tune of the Skye Boat Song
At the end, the Electric Avenue dance was repeated, and the audience joined in with the actions - many with great enthusiasm
Having a few camera issues at the moment, so here are some more pictures from June 2013. The children are still in school, but mostly they are a little older and taller!
My camera is having a few problems, so I have looked back in my archives, and here are some pictures from last year - June 2013!
Remember the swarm of bees we had? Well, we received this lovely letter from the man who came to deal with them, telling us that the bees are now settled in their new home! I love the picture!
And, looking forward, a massive delivery of books for September. The school year is flying by!
Before the holiday, some children from Year 3 were doing a drama lesson on our school field
They made plans and tried them out.
It was lovely to be in the fresh air
Full of joy!
The tree provided welcome shade
This story looked very exciting!
