Some of our children got through three rounds of auditioning to take part in the finals of the Ellowes Hall Talent Show

None of our acts won, but they all did very well indeed and we were proud of them all

School Photographs today.

We used a new Photograph team this year

They quickly made themselves at home

Snow - a few flakes!

A few flakes of snow fell this morning (Tuesday!)

Great excitement! Will school close early?

Will we get to build snow men? 

For a few brief moments, there was promise of a winter wonderland.

But it melted as quickly as it came!

Drama in Y5

After studying the poem "The Highwayman", children posed in a series of "freeze frames" to tell the story. Here are some of them:

Y2's Sleeping Beauty

Year 2 children performing a piece based on the Sleeping beauty

Starting with just a few children,..

...the scene grew...  

 ...bigger and bigger...

... until everyone  fell into an enchanted sleep.

Look carefully at the pictures and note the quality of the movements. Fantastic!

Dodgeball

Pictures from our first ever Dodgeball Club.

Children were excited to play what is a brand new sport for us. 

 They really enjoyed it.

The blur of movement shows how fast and furious it was!
