Class 6S's assembly - on words and poetry

Class 6S did an assembly in rhyme. The hymn was number 525 - from the tiny ant, to the elephant (on Tuesday's blog you saw children learning it )

When Mrs Robottom was younger, she got a Blue Peter badge for a poem she wrote

Below, the song was "Tonight, I'm gonna have myself a really good rhyme" (with apologies to Queen!)

Class 2S did a rhyme about jungle animals, full of onomatopaeia 

The whole thing was about words and poetry

They  showed a rap video they had made "It's like that - and that's the way it is!" (We also saw the out-takes, in which members of staff tripped up - most amusingly)

A great start to a dark and cold Friday morning!
