Astley Burf residential visit

The computer system at Astley Burf won't take our photos, so the blog lady has nipped home (and missed her evening meal) to post these.

Arriving at Astley Burf and being briefed by the warden, Mr Lissiter.

Monday afternoon's walk, watched by a small gey pony

Someone thought the stepping stones were a bit scary!

Why cross the bridge in a normal way when this way is more fun?

Each hut has a scarecrow outside - and I haven't seen any crows so it must be working

Waiting to find out which table goes first for breakfast

On the five mile walk to Witley Court we stopped for a fruit break

Mr Jackson's group stopped to try some wild blackberries

At Witley Court we heard the story of great riches and a fire

This is just like Downton Abbey
