Just a few pictures from our Foundation Nativity today.
The Nursery were stars,
...and here are some stable animals
A lovely, simple telling of the Christmas story
More pictures tomorrow - and there'll be some more over the Christmas holiday too. The school term may stop, but the blog goes on

Little Angels and Zip
The minibus is parked in the crowded car park
The Mayor of Dudley sits waiting to listen (and texting, ahem!)
It's our youngest choir, Little Angels (only nine of them because three others were sick), waiting by the Christmas tree - ready to sing to everyone.
This is them singing "Little Donkey". They did lots from their Nativity Concert, which is on Friday.
But this is their new favourite - "When Santa got stuck up the chimney"
They sang like little angels - the best I've ever heard them The audience was very impressed. Afterwards they all got a present!
Back in school, the older children watched the Zip Theatre group's pantomime
A child's eye view
Packing away the scenery afterwards

Christmas Fair, part 2
The newly decorated Christmas tree appeared in the Hall over the weekend. Mr Rowbottom and family spent much of saturday putting it up.
At the fair, you could buy balloons...
...lots of balloons...
Or, you could win prizes.
It was good to see some children from secondary schools come to visit us and win all the prizes
They're waiting to let people into Santa's grotto. These two are next in the queue
You could have your face painted too.
A great evening.. Thanks to all who helped.
The raffle was drawn yesterday (Tuuesday). A list of prize winners is availalble in school.
And thankyou to Mr Holmes. He has sorted out the problem I had yesterday: too much storage, not enough space.

The Christmas Fair
Monday - our Christmas Fair day.
Let's have a look at some of the stalls:
toys...
...the chocolate stall (the bloglady won that Toblerone seconds after taking this picture!)...
..snacks by the tree (and the bouncy castle, blurred because of the bouncing!)...
...the lucky dip...
...some of the raffle prizes. It will be drawn tomorrow, Tuesday, after school in the small hall...
.... rattly balloons...
... here's a general view - they're queuing for the Tombola in the foreground

What a week!
The week has been full of historic events:
Historic event 1:
Here's the new equipment in the Nursery playground. Two towers...
.... and a climbing wall
Historic event 2:
Reception have this trail for climbing and balancing. (The pencils aren't new - we've had those for a while)
This looks like great fun.
Historic event 3:
You've seen pictures of this seating already, but this is the historic moment when the children tried it out for the first time
Very exciting
Historic event 4:
And pictures I didn't think we had: shots of Jubilate at their concert in Birmingham last Saturday.
Strange to see Mrs Roden singing for a change!!!! (She's our wonderful conductor, in case you weren't aware!)
Here is international conductor Scott Stroman, who worked with the various bands
Historic event 5 (but this is just personal to the Bloglady)
Our counter says the blog has had over 35 000 hits
(That means it's been viewed 35,000 times)

Year 4 go to Worcester Cathedral
Jesson's is a church school. Faith is important to us. So we make sure that all children get a chance to visit:
Here are Year 4 during their Cathedral visit. No more words - the pictures tell their own story
Thanks to the staff for taking the pictures,
from the Bloglady
- a church - that's easy - we go to St James regularly, and quite often groups visit "Top Church" (St Thomas and St Luke) as well
- our home cathedral - Worcester. We're part of the Worcester Diocese
- at least one other place of worship - we visit the Gurdwara, and the Temple. (you might have seen the photos of Year 5 there earlier this month.
