Family Learning

This week we have started family learning sessions. John Dean Family Learning Tutor led the session - he wove stories around post cards chosen by the children and parents.
The parents and children also drew pictures with their eyes shut, which was a fun thing to do.  The pictures were collected in before they opened their eyes and they then had to see if they could recognise what they had drawn when it was held up.
There was lots of imagining, thinking, talking and sharing.
Parents and children have said they enjoyed the session and can't wait to go further on the journey from the imagination station next week.
