Today, the Bishop of Magdeburg came with a delegation, to visit Jesson's. She wanted to see what an English church school was like
The visitors left us some presents - Below, some music and a CD "Alles hat seine zeit" (Everyone has their time, I think)
..and some story books Einer hilft (the Good Samaritan) and Noah.
The Bloglady liked this book. It's for trouser pockets, because you can wash it
Pictures from inside - the boy Jesus at the Temple (next week's assembly story)
...and Joseph in the pit, thrown there by his brothers.
It was good to look at things from someone else's viewpoint.
The visitors stayed far longer than they meant to, and seemed very impressed with the school, the children and the children's behaviour.
And of course, they loved it when Jubilate did a quick performance (not planned or practised in advance, but our children coped magnificently!)
