Three trips. Trip two: the canal

Some children from Year 5 and 6 went on a trip to the Dudley Canal Trust

Exemplary behaviour, reported by the staff who took them! Plenty of compliments received from the Trust personnel as well.

Three trips. Trip 1 - the gurdwara with Year 5

As part of India week in Year 5, the children visited our local gurdwara on Tuesday.

Heads covered as a sign of respect, the children were fascinated by everything

The people were amazed at their questions and deep thinking

There was lots to see

The adults were offered Indian food ...

...while the children had crisps 

But then they all wanted to try the traditional food, which was most enjoyable.

The children loved the music too

Everyone commented on the excellent behaviour of our children.

All last week, groups of Reception children went on a trip...

...to Sycamore Adventure Centre

There was lots to do...

...inside and out.

We are right in the middle of Dudley...

...but we still manage to have some lovely areas of green in our school.

In our other courtyard, the daffodils are starting to get past their best...

...but the primroses are taking over.

Just think what we could do if we had a Sports Hall. This hall is needed for assemblies, dinners and concert practices

...but we can still enjoy ourselves!
