A sunny lunch time, part 1

One sunny lunch-time last week, the Bloglady went for a walk round the playground with her camera.
Skipping was quite popular...

....so was running in the "Cage"

The tyres and pencils were part of the games

Note from Bloglady: the new upgraded blog seems to be acting randomly, inserting spaces, etc . Sorry, can't work out how to stop it at the moment!

Outdoor maths

Year 6 (Miss Garratt's group) had a maths lesson on the field.

Children answered mental maths questions with
speed, helped by a little competition.

It was amazing how keen the children were to get quick answers so they could race to win.

Millie goes to school

In Year 2 some of the children have been writing instructions about how to care for pets.

Today, a real life pet came into class. Millie the Spaniel. The children were able to ask questions, and stroke her if they wanted to.
(They washed their hands afterwards, of course!)

Dennis has some more visitors

Nursery children went over to visit Dennis the bus

There was plenty of room inside

What an exciting place for lessons

Bus drivers are getting younger every day!
In fact, their feet don't even reach the pedals.
