Teeth and football

Some Year 3 children have been studying teeth. Here are the results of using some disclosing tablets

The children have decided to brush their teeth more often and more thoroughly from now on!

After school today the joint Year 4/5 football team had a match at Church of the Ascension School.

They played well, and almost equalised but just lost out at the end.

Very good game though - well played boys!

And thanks go to the four members of staff who took them and then stood there in the cold while they played. Dedication!

Meerkats?

Year 2 Art Club were making pictures....

....of habitats for meerkats. 

It looked like fun!!!! 

Myths

In Class 3A, children have been looking at...

 ...the story of Theseus and the minotaur...

... in order to identify...

...common features of myths. 

They then identified them on large sheets of paper ....

...and annotated their work,

...showing how the story fits the common pattern.

It was a demanding task,...                                    

.... but made easier because they worked together.

Class 2M had a competition to find who could move a kilogram weight over the table

And in Year 5, Zain's writing has suddenly made a massive improvement

He seems to have used up all the school supply of stickers!
