A former Jesson's pupil leads the way as all the teams join together to parade onto the Sports field for the final event. That's the new Ellowes Sports Hall in the background.
Teams of children from Year 6 went to Ellowes Hall for the Primary School Olympics. We won several events but were just beaten overall by Straits Primary, so we came a very creditable second. Here the children wait in the brand new Sports Hall for the results.

After school Mrs Stone and the team held a meeting for the children going to Astley Burf on October 3rd for our residential week
Some children were surprised to learn that there are no shops, no televisions and no mobile phones allowed. They'll have to write a post card if they want to keep in touch!

Travelling is the theme for our Assemblies this half term - and it's also the theme of 2S's PE lesson today: travelling across the floor in interesting ways.
It was the first day of the 2011-12 school year. Lots of excited children were going to their new classes today.
