Jesson's was delighted to welcome members of the British legion to our whole school assembly on Tuesday. Jesson's was presented with a trophy for raising the most money in Dudley, for the Poppy Appeal. Particular thanks to Mrs Slater for all of her hard work in organising the schools collections.
These are pictures taken from the fantastic reception (blue) class assembly. The children and staff did an amazing job; they are true stars of the future
The parents and children really love working together and today was no exception. They made puppets, 'using old things to make new things'. These were then used to improve simple stories. Well done year 2 and all of the parents that came to support their children.
It was very exciting for the children when their new Headteacher took her first assembly. She talked all about new years resolutions and how much she was looking forward to working at Jesson's.

The children in KS2 had a beautiful service at St James church and told the Christmas story to all of the visiting parents.
